Know your status—privately and confidently

An HIV self-test lets you check your HIV status in a private, convenient setting. Follow the instructions supplied with your kit carefully and read the result only within the stated time.
Understanding your result Non-reactive (negative) No HIV antibodies were detected. If your possible exposure was recent, the test may have been taken during the “window period.” Most HIV self-tests are antibody tests, which can take up to 90 days after exposure to detect HIV. Retest after the window period or speak with a healthcare professional. Reactive (positive) This is a preliminary result—not an HIV diagnosis. Arrange confirmatory testing with a qualified healthcare provider or testing clinic as soon as possible. Invalid The test did not work correctly. Repeat it using a new kit and carefully follow the enclosed instructions.

HIV self-testing that’s private, simple and reassuring.

I had been putting off testing because I felt uncomfortable visiting a clinic. Being able to test privately at home made taking that first step feel much less intimidating.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I appreciated knowing exactly when to read the result and what each possible result would mean.

Privacy was my biggest concern. Testing at home gave me the space to go through the process calmly, without worrying about being recognised at a clinic.

I was nervous about doing the test incorrectly, but the step-by-step guidance made everything straightforward. It felt good to take charge of my health.

I travel frequently and rarely have time for clinic appointments. Having a self-test available meant I could test when and where it suited me.

The packaging was discreet, which really mattered to me. Nothing about the delivery drew attention, and I could test privately when I was ready.

Waiting and wondering had been causing me a lot of anxiety. Having a clear way to test at home helped me stop postponing something important.

I liked that the information explained the window period instead of simply promising reassurance. It helped me understand when to test and whether I might need to test again.

This was my first HIV self-test, so I had plenty of questions. The plain-language explanations made the process feel manageable rather than clinical or overwhelming.

I wasn’t sure how soon after a possible exposure I could test. The information about the window period helped me avoid testing too early and misunderstanding the result.

As a gay man, I have sometimes felt judged when discussing sexual health. Testing privately at home let me focus on my wellbeing without that added pressure.
